พื้นที่สีเทา ระหว่างเขา ระหว่างเรา เป็นการแสดงขยายสภาพความปกติธรรมดาสามัญ ที่คนไทยทั่วไปคุ้นชินกัน ผ่านสายตามาโครของนพพันธ์ บุญใหญ่ และ ดุจดาว วัฒนปกรณ์ คำถามเกี่ยวกับชนชั้น ช่องว่างของสังคม และการดิ้นรนเพื่อสิ่งที่ดีกว่า สร้างเส้นขัดแย้งที่เตะตาแต่ดันกลับมีลักษณะโปร่งใสในบริบทสังคมประจำวัน ข้อสงสัยที่ว่า ทำไมคนเราถึงอยากเป็นเหมือนคนอื่น ชี้นำให้คิดว่าทางทีคนไทยเราอาจจะไม่ชอบสิ่งที่ตัวเองเป็น และเห็นตัวเองด้อยกว่า อยากนำสมัยเท่าเขา อยากขาวเท่าเขา อยากมีเท่าเขา...
